How Do Sesame Services Work?

COST SAVINGS EXAMPLES

At a recent telecommunications conference, a number of examples were presented on the cost savings that can result from an analysis of a company's telecom usage and a comparison of vendor programs. Sesame's experts will conduct a similar evaluation of your network costs in order to determine if equivalent cost savings can be achieved for your operations. The highlighted examples included the following:

  • $100,000 was returned to the bottom line of a Baltimore bank when costly billing errors were uncovered and refunds were obtained.
  • $50,000 was deleted from the telecom bill of a Texas real estate trust when unused lines were discovered and Long Distance calls were re-routed to a more effective program.
  • $45,000 was recouped when a 300-bed Delaware hospital eliminated unnecessary equipment maintenance charges.
  • $27,000 was saved by a Boston car-rental office just by switching from measured service to flat rate service.
  • $20,000 was recovered when a Los Angeles truck terminal discovered charges for extra services that had been billed to their account.

Let Sesame analyze your operations to develop the most cost-effective program for your telecommunications needs and data requirements.

SHARING COST SAVINGS

Sesame invoices to client companies are based on the cost savings and network improvements which Sesame identifies, and which are implemented by the client.

Operating Cost Savings: For reductions in telecommunications network expense which are identified by Sesame, our invoice to clients will total no more than 50% of the first year savings (i.e., we will share the first year savings with you). The amounts due will be billed on a quarterly basis in arrears, so that the client will recognize actual savings before paying any fees to Sesame.

Capacity Procurement: Sesame can review your telecommunications usage patterns and manage your bid and procurement process with telecom vendors. For new contracts, Sesame will bill two months' net recurring cost, invoiced at the end of the quarter in which the services are installed.

Network Efficiency Improvements: For increases in network capacity or improvements in network performance which are recommended by Sesame and accepted by the client, Sesame will bill according to the cost savings in existing capacity, and the procurement of service for added capacity.

Equipment Procurement: For telecommunications or data equipment which the client purchases through Sesame, there will be a charge of 7% of the net vendor cost. This fee will be due upon delivery of the equipment to the client's facilities (if Sesame does not provide installation services) or after certification of operational readiness (if Sesame installs the equipment).

Consulting Services: For consulting services provided by Sesame, the cost will be on a negotiated time and expense basis as agreed with the client.
