Windings Of The TorusThe torus can be wound with a single line wrapping n times around one axis and m times around the other axis (without line crossings) if and only if n and m are relatively prime. (That is, they share no factors other than one.) You can create windings with other values of n and m, but they will be composed of multiple loops (or they will have line crossings).
